  • In children older than 7 years it is recommended to use paste with higher concentrations of fluoride.
  • Depending on the level of risk, age and concentration of fluoride in the water for daily consumption, the pediatric dentist and / or pediatrician will decide the dose of systemic fluoride.
  • Both the pediatrician and the pediatric dentist must decide on the type of administration and frequency, depending on the risk of caries.
  • The infant should have his first visit with the pediatric dentist when the eruption of the 20 temporary pieces has been completed.
